Along with all the points previously mentioned, I like the idea of a neck that will never require adjustment. And the getting struck by lightening bit.

does seem like an episode of metalocalypse.
ah, no adjustment needed. that makes sense. but i like setting up guitars just how *i* like them, even if someone would say it's not a proper set up, or theres too much fret buzz or whatever.
what about tone? any effect on tone with an alum neck? yeah, that might be a dumb question...

Depends on the pickups but a generally brighter tone with aluminum

They are cold with its cold in the room, also there's a lot less tuning variation depending on temperature.

I like doing setups too and tweaking things just how I like but relief is something I want to stay put, don't enjoy going back and forth with it. I just requested ideal relief with my EGC order based on the scale I chose and it's gonna stay put right there. Forever. I live in an area with a shit ton of summer humidity and winter dryness so I'm happy to have one neck that won't be moving.
Plus aluminum necks/guitars just look badass. That's a huge part of the appeal for me.

Speaking of, I was sitting down with my aluminum guitar last week and I sat down too fast and bashed the headstock into my front tooth. Luckily it didn't break, but it was loose all last week...

True but I'd think a wood guitar is just as capable in this department.

Haha, that would be a shitty way to loose a front tooth, no doubt.
