Yeah, or a cocked wah, or really any sort of bandpass filter will get close. Reminds me kinda of some of the settings you can get with the Destroyer feature on the Mobius, to get that old-timey-phonograph sound.

I wish they release the "Destroyer" as a single pedal as I dont care about the rest of the Mobius.

I'd be all over a destroyer/quadrature stand alone pedal

Here's Strymon reply:

Thanks for the feedback! We don't really talk about what we may or may have in development but I'll pass your feedback on for sure!

Thanks for supporting Strymon! :)

Would be badass, they really should offer it. Add the LoFi mode from the Timeline in there too, ILF cream dream pedal right there. :thumb:

33-band rack graphic EQ (aka "1/3 octave EQ") is what you want. it can make Motorhead sould like they're playing through a telephone, and i used to use a stereo DOD to remix audience-recorded concert tapes. the way you can move stuff around in a track and totally crush huge frequency bands for special effects is quite useful. for that tone i'd start out by spiking it around 2kHz-6kHz, and mash down Rome, er, i mean everything below ~500-600Hz. sorry, i was having a little Max Romeo moment there.
