Lets talk about harmonizers for bass

I've had an itch recently to get a harmonizer for my bass, since I can never find a guitar player to jam with. I know of the PS6, but can it do 2 or more voices? I also have a vague familiarity with the Ring Thing being capable of pitch bending, but can it do multiple voices? Ideally, I'd like to have both, which brings me back to the PS6. Buuuutttt ring mods are awesome. I've also notice that Unibass pedals on eBay going for less than I thought they'd be going for (thanks guy from Muse for NOT using one). I've tried out the Fishman Fission Bass somethingorother before and it was alright. I'd like to change the voicings if possible (say +3 steps to +7 steps).
What else am I missing?

The only harmonizer I have played was on my m13 and its awesome. Changing harmonies with an expression pedal also awesome. So yeah m 5/9/13.

PitchFactor is cool, it can do a bunch of different stuff to help with filling space besides harmonizing.

How is the tracking on the m line? My only experience with Line6 harmonizers were their patches in the older Pods, which left a lot to be desired. Also, can they handle chords?

The tracking is great and yes for chords, if my paycheck shows up today I may go out to get an m5, can't beat all that it will do for $130 plus I am in desperate need of a tuner.

Huh, when I played with an M13, it couldn't do chords. It warbled all over the place.

For harmonizers, more true than any other effect, you get what you pay for. Go dedicated unit (Digi Harmony Man, Eventide anything) or a synth pickup-based unit (GR-55 with a bass will do stupid, stupid stuff) and don't be sorry.
Anything else is a toy, a cute, sometimes fun toy, but a toy nonetheless.

Do you have any experience with the HarmonyMan? And ideally, I'd get a PitchFactor. But that's a lot of money for a pedal.
