"Thee Fuzz War Overload is a limited edition pedal inspired by John Dwyer from Thee Oh Sees. The Fuzz circuit controls include Gain, Level and Tone and the Boost circuit has a Level control.

Yep, just looks like some sort of clean boost in addition to the FW circuit for an extra $75ish

Just get an Apocalypse and get the Fuzz War, Octave Clang, and 3 other options all packed in one pedal with an actual volume control for once. Then boost it. More bang for the buck!

If they brought back the Armageddon I would be down like China Town, and you know there'd be trouble.
The apocalypse has been the most tempting pedal to me for the longest time, I'm the biggest sucker for glow in the dark paint and analog multi-mode shit.
actually I can't afford to buy anything for like a year. Stupid priorities

This was the pedal I was talking about in the other Thee Oh Sees thread! Knew it was something custom. Amazed it's just a straight boost and also that it seems to be after the Fuzz War. I kinda figured something like the guitar sound at the start of Crack In Your Eye was a bass boost blasting into the FW. To be honest, the FW is loud enough to never need a boost! Not at house levels anyway.
