DL4 SMD Resistor

Hey Guys!
I was replacing the footswitches on my DL4. While I was disconnecting one of the mountain switches my pliers slipped and I nicked the R29 resistor. I got everything wired up, but now that switch is the only one that doesn't work. Could the damage to the resistor be the problem? I've quadruple checked all of the solder joints and everything looks good.
Here's a photo:

Hey man, have you got a multimeter to check that resistor? But anyway if that resistor goes off to the switch that isn't working then pretty sure it has to be the problem. (Looks like you've soldered to the right pads on the switch about the only other thing that could be wrong.) It's easy enough to replace though. Can you still read or remember the code that was written on it? I think it's an 0805 resistor (a bit hard to gauge from a photo could be 0603). Any place like element14,mouser or RS will have them for real cheap.

Thanks for the reply!
I do have a multimeter. I'll check it out.
I think it's a 2001. There's a 2001 on one of the other switches, so I'm guessing that's it.
How difficult would it be to replace with a through hole component? I've never worked with SMD stuff.

Yeah you can solder a through hole resistor it's a little tricky and you have to bend both the legs 180degrees but possible. 2001 = 2k. SMD isn't too hard to solder (there's probably videos online how to), but that said if you've already got through hole resistors go for it.

Thanks for the help mysteriousj!
Turns out the code for the R29 resistor is 1001 (1K). I had an extra 1K handy and I soldered it to the pads with no problem.
Now all the switches work perfectly!

Does anyone happen to know the value of R32?
