anyone on here a big fan? i've never been a follower, but last night at practice started chatting with my pals about videos that creeped us out when we were little after we had to show our girl playing rhythm how a part she'd written was WAY too similar to the opening of sweet dreams. which made her cringe once she heard it. told them the story of when i was in 6th or 7th grade, had a buddy sleeping over, we were crashing in sleeping bags on the floor of our unfinished basement, flipped channels when we decided to call it a night and ran into mr. krinkle on 120 minutes. i still fucking love that album. and everything i've heard from les, though i'm far from it all...

Huuuuuuge Primus fan, right here. Love all their albums (haven't listened to the latest one actually now that I think about it), although Antipop is a little weak. Everyone in that band is awesome, too. Larry comes up with really unique guitar parts, and Herb is monster. Brain is damn good, tons of fat beats on the Brown album.

Les' solo stuff is pretty cool. I dig Eyeball in the Sky, Purple Onion, Highball with the Devil, and Of Fungi and Foe.

I have Tony Hawk Pro Skater to thank for Primus in my life.

They're pretty sweet.

I think Behndy is the resident Primus nut?

I used to love em. Guess I still do but they've kinda fallen out of my listening rotation.

Took 6 hits of acid and saw em in springfield ma in the early 90's. It ruled.

I was obsessed with Primus in high school, back in the Frizzle Fry, Sailing The Seas Of Cheese, and Pork Soda era. Brown Album is the last thing I can tolerate from 'em though, I fell straight off after that. Brain wasn't cutting it on drums for me. Gimme Tim Alexander or nothing.

Should also note, when I first heard Primus, I gotta say I thought I was hearing the most original music EVER, without a doubt. Then someone played me The Residents and my world was shattered haha.

I only got into Primus after I started playing bass a few years ago, but it's crazy good stuff.

The newest album is interesting. Good, but the mixing is a little weird.

My dad introduced me to Primus when I was a little kid. Best dad ever.

Fuck yeah, Primus Sucks!

I got into them with Sailing the Seas of Cheese, and Pork Soda and TFTPB rocked my lame teenage ass. Brown album was cool, but that's around when I started checking out. I've got Claypool's Frog Brigade albums, and they're pretty badass too. "DMV" still blows my mind, I still don't know how the fuck anyone plays that bassline. I am teh suck at tapping.

dude i am mainly a guitarist and just play bass when necessary but i am baffled by some of the shit that guy can do. he's also thus far the only upright player i've really gotten into aside from a pal of mine who mainly does folk/old school country stuff, which i love that he's become successful with (got hired to tour) but i'm not into.
