I'd say $10,000 is about right, that's pocket change for the folks who already have a living room full of furniture that the Wheelharp would match...
I want one, but it's gotta look like Ikea furniture and be purple...

I don't mean crazy as in unreasonable, the thing looks beautiful and is super complicated and fancy, just crazy as in "I will never spend that much on one instrument".

The idea and look is amazing. The sound clips didn't sound that great to me and obviously the price...

i think it sounds lovely for a prototype. obviously 12 large is out of the question, but imagine what you could do with it in an acoustic improv ensemble

Having heard your recording of the ambient sounds of namm, I am sure that was a welcome sound to have close by.

I would give a leg for one of those things!
We're all spoiled, even unnecessarily lavish guitars are cheap compared to most instruments let alone something with that level of workmanship and intricacy.

For real, I was thinking the same thing. Well, not really, but if I could afford one I would definitely want one more minimalist/modern looking. Just my style. And for $500 they'll name a color after you. Maybe we can all pitch in and get a Tom Dalton Green. Or pee yellow?
