Hello everyone! I found a patch cable, it's mean that I should buy a new pedal :D
I need a tremolo, for 1 song, max 2.
My choiches are:
EHX XO Stereo Pulsar PRO: cheap for what I need from a tremolo pedal and cool graphic CON: I don't know, maybe sterile and thin soundin, useless rate switch, no tap tempo.
Catalinbreand Semaphore Tap Tempo Tremolo PRO: Tap tampo, awesome sound. CON: The price.
What should I do? I don't wanna spend to much money for a useless pedal :idk: (and I need squarewave)
PS: for experience, with mantra overdrive in my chain, any other pedal sounds awesome.
PPS: I had a stereo pulsar two years ago, I sold after a month, but I can't remember how does it sound...

Are you looking for tap tempo? Pulling off tap with a hard trem is actually really difficult to do well, I've found that I grow to like trems that don't really have it.

That said, the Semaphore is a killer pedal, I had the non tap version a while back and loved it.

Yeah, I didn't like having the tap feature on my trem. I feel like I might like an expression pedal better, but who knows.
I've heard very good things about the Boss-TR-2 actually. You can get them cheap and they have that knob to shift between triangle and square wave.

Yes. Very yes. Adam from Zozobra has one on his board, it sounded absolutely killer.

I've liked TR-2s quite a lot. Definitely a good choice. Some do have a bit of a volume drop, though.

I LOVE my Tremolessence. I don't wish it had a tap feature but I do wish I had an exp pedal.
I agree with kbithecrowing

TR-2 is great for the price

If you want more control, 4ms Tremulus Lune... definitely THE tremolo for me, quite a workhorse with cool functions and a very nice sound :)

I don't care so much for a tap tempo feature, actually I'm using the Whetstone for a warm fender style vibrato\tremolo, the catalinbread semaphore (no tap tempo) seems cool, but I prefer a cheap unit, like a stereo pulsar (and buy another pedal too). :idk:

Copilot Polypus. It's cheap and small. I got mine for $90 directly from copilot I got the pedal that went around on a tourbox. Option for tap, bitching square wave + normal waves and some funky ones, and an awesome graphic!

mine didn't, but i've heard about it :idk:

so if you want a cheaper pedal, go with the TR-2 :) the Tremulus Lune is also pretty cheap, but TR-2 might be cheaper ;)
