Octasynth help!

Hey, just got a Subdecay Octasynth after really liking the youtube demos, but it doesn't seem to be passing signal very well (or at all sometimes) and I'm not confident enough to open it up and play around with the insides. Anybody else had any problems with theirs/or have suggestions what I should do with it? :?:

could you post some sound samples?
i'd say shoot subdecay an email and explain your problem, i'd imagine they'd be able to help ya :)

Yeah, my Octasynth is super badass, no real issues with signal or tracking. I'd def shoot Brian at Subdecay an email cuz when that pedal is functioning correctly, you'll have no question as to whether or not it's functioning correctly.

It could be the pickups you use though as with my Strat with very low output vintage style single coils I also had some tracking issues when I was testing the Octasynth, a thing that could help is turning the depth and the resonance of the filter up a bit if I recall correctly.

Def, it abides by all analog synth rules. You need some good output from the neck pickup to really get things cooking.

I have not much to add to this thread.

1) My Octasynth weighs a ton ... I mean ... works fine.

2) Brian at SubDecay is very helpful.

3) This is my favorite Octasynth demo, even though technically it's not a SubDecay:

Ahh, thanks guys! I'll try to get ahold of Brian and see what's up. I'd hate to get rid of it, it's so fun when it works!

I think I see the problem. If your knob settings are anything like the ones in the photo, you won't be getting much signal out of it.

Try turning the knobs all the way up.

huh. i misread your name as Pillow Fart and hoped there was some story about how you destroyed a loved one's olfactory senses by nailing a wet stinker into a pillow case and catching them unawares.

i'm not gonna lie.... i'm a tad disappointed.
