Hey guys, ive got a DL$ that im about to mod and I have a Strymon el cap. Im looking to add another delay that will get me some different flavor/coolness overall.

Been looking at these,
THat new ibanez moog ripoff
MXR carbon copy
EHX Deluxe memory boy/man still dont see much difference?
Way huge SUPA puss (cool ass step feature and helpful tone/gain knobs)

What would you recommend? Ive seen this and its hard to pick between the two. they seem like the two on top so far, and ive never gotten to play on any of them yet.

The Ibanez Moog rip-off sounds pretty awesome. I've liked the demos I've heard of it.
Malekko delays in the 616 series are nice if you're looking for a straight forward analog box. They sound a bit better than a Carbon Copy IMO.
You could also look into the Red Panda Particle. It's definitely a different flavor of delay, and I know a lot of folks on here like it a lot.

Edit: I've been gassing for the DBA Echo Dream 2 for a long time. That's worth a look as well. Delay with fuzz...You can't go wrong!

EQD Disaster Transport (or a Jr.) for those haunting lo-fi delays :) one of my all time favourites (i like the full version more, because the modulation is awesome)

didn't like the Malekko 616 that much (at least not compared to say my Wampler or the DT)

God that Ibanez one looks way too sweet.

I have a carbon copy that I really like. Simple but effective.

Besides the ones already specifically mentioned these seem interesting: Malekko LoFi Ekko 616, Moog M104Z, *cough* JHS Panther *cough* (this seems an 'original' circuit though)
The Way Huge Supa Puss only has an expression input for delay time control, it doesn't work on the feedback unfortunately.
The Deluxe Memory Man has different modulation from the Deluxe Memory Boy, the latter being a bit more crazy with square wave modulation and all, it also utilises different chips (new ones) which have a different sound (some say it's less warm and thinner).
For the rest it's a matter of digital v.s. analog and modulation v.s. no modulation I guess, personally I'd go for analog with modulation if you don't need too many other features.

Edit:
Wow, that was fast! :)

Im a very efficient man..

Although i think ill get a supa puss someday too. my buddy is looking at the EHX delays and ill play his when he commits and go from there, I got no issue with having 4-5 delays!

Thanks guys

I can relate to having more than one delay, I'm a delay freak myself too, have fun with your Disaster Transport SR! :)

I'm putting my vote in for the supa puss. It's the only one on your list with trails and those are a must for me. The tone and gain knobs are very useful indeed and the modulation can get you all googly-eyed about it. It's got a ton of features but it's not overwhelming. Most of the knobs are small and out of the way and I don't change those too much/the step mode is hidden in the push knob/trails are hidden in the tap switch. It's just awesome, lofi goodness.

Digi Time Bender. Sadly discontinued but there's a ton out there.

Harmonized delay, decent modulation, weird until the cows come home for cheap.
