I can only go with what I have used and that would be Bare Knuckle's supermassive https://bareknucklepickups.co.uk/main/p ... massive_90
Basically you want something with a high Ω amount for them massive lows, you want something in the bucker range in terms of power imop... or you could go bucker and if you are unhappy put all kind's of stuff in it after the fact. What I had in the original mudtelez was a Rio Grande Muy Grande http://www.riograndepickups.com/scart/P ... umbuckings thing is sick bassy! you can really use it for conventional bass sounds :thumb:

I have lace alumitone humbuckers in my agile Bari. They aren't bad. I wonder how those dog ear p90s are...

I have a SD quarter pounder in my tele baritone and I love it. Honestly, I think single coils work better...less muddy.

I've been playing around with the idea of building one from Warmoth parts and... then it hit me. TV-fucking-Jones! Filtertron high end and thick low end.

Haven't tried this particular model but I like the idea of the low end clarity plus midrange for the ripping fuzz ear candy.

Comes with a price, though.

No idea what they actually are, but the humbuckers in the Bottom Master rip. They sound seriously good. I'd be curious to try some DiMarzio Super Distortions in one too. Or Lollar Regal WRHB's.

Bare Knuckles are some of the BEST pickups I've tried, ever! You could have Tim custom wind those bitches however you please as well. Shoot him an email, super helpful dude, just tell him what you're after and he'll guide you in the right direction. :thumb:

I hear really great things about Motor City stuff too...
