DOOM Cookbook

We've had several discussions about food and or nutrition and I thought it would be cool to have a place to share tasty stuff.
I'm particularly interested in vegan recipes as I love meat but have friends who do not and would like to be able to offer them more than a piece of celery.

So I'll start it off with what Infinite Flux will be consuming tomorrow. I will call it-

:doom: THE DOOMBURGER :doom:

Ingredients-
2 lbs ground beef
1 lbs lamb (optional step, sacrifice the Lamb to your favorite Old One. I chose Cthulhu)
1/2 lbs delicious sausage
onion
portobello mushroom (optional step: substitute psilocybin)
Garlic
pepper jack cheese
seasoning salt
pepper
spices to taste. I used Stubbs because that man is a WIZARD when it comes to bbq

Put your meats in a bowl, consume some IRISH DEATH!

Image

Mix them up like dough.

mince up some garlic, onion and mushroom. Sautee it in a pan with some olive oil.

Image

use a burger press to make nice thin flat patties. (optional step: Have your WIZARD use black magic to flatten and shape the meat)

Image

add the cheese and then top with sauteed nummy stuff (optional step: ADD SOME WEED )

Image

top with another patty and squeeze the edges together like you would a pie crust.

Image

Now they are ready to go onto the grill, OR INTO ETERNAL HELLFIRE!!!!
top with lettuce tomato etc, whatever you like.

I'll do part 2 tomorrow when we grill em up. :hello:

We made some vegan banh mi the other night. It was really fantastic. Seitan strips marinated and sautéed thoroughly, a tofu-based "pâté," myriad veggies (key: cilantro) and sriracha, on a baguette.

I'd better hide that one from my wife. She's type 1 diabetic.

Eeeerrr maaah geeeerd!

Those were some great burgers and some killer corn on the cob! I brought over some jalapeno peppers to make some poppers with cream cheese. Man! I am not sure I even finished mine! Lol. I remember talking, then John asked a question as I was chowing down on my popper... Then there was a momentary break in my consciousness as my taste buds broke in to the regular the scheduled broadcast with some station identification pain information. It was like they were saying, " whatever someone is saying right now its not important! ... deal with ME!!"

The beer didn't do much to cool the fire in my mouth, but the survival instinct in me saw the grapes on the table, so I started to shovel those into my mouth until it cooled a bit.

Tony's jalapeno wasn't very hot so I cut him a piece of mine. Sharing is caring.

Lots of really great food and beer today.

Hmmm, so what are we doing here?

Image

Mix it all up, stuff some peppers and grill it.

Image

Back to the DOOMBURGERS grill em up, use some hickory wood in with the charcoal for extra flavor. Use a flatiron on the grill or some tinfoil if you dont have that to get some onions and tomatoe nice and crispy to top it. I like mustard too.

Image

Delish

Image

Optional step: recommend you then jam with the band for a few more hours and then go see BORIS!

Today was a good fucking day. And the sharing of the peppers was hilarious.
"these aren't that hot."
"Here, try mine."
:snax:  :omg:    :p

you're both in great peril as her insulin production and YOUR insulin sensitivity is no match, the overseer of blood sugar will not be able to withstand this force.

I'm basically skin wrapped around caffeine and sugar, so I'm all good, I can handle it.
I'll just deal with it like I do everything else in my marriage concerning my habit of indulging while my wife abstains: not tell her about it. :excellent:

Ah man, I love treating my marriage like a Rodney Dangerfield routine.
