That's a question for the general "Gear" subforum, and it has been discussed a bit over at http://www.deviever.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=108&t=3197. So far, all the feedback I've heard about 'em has been positive.

Kick ass pedal...the clean blend knob makes in incredibly versatile, and the internal trimpots are extremely useful for custom tailoring the sound to your specific rig and personal tastes. The only thing that I wasn't 110% pleased with about this pedal was I felt it could use a little more sustain and/or gain (I generally like as much gain as humanly possible), but this issue is immediately dissolved with the use of a boost pedal. TAFM+boost=my current favortie fuzz tone(s). This pedal has a huge range of tonal possibilities...I could use this pedal alone to get just about any distortion/fuzz/overdrive sound I would want, and for what it's worth, this will be one of the coolest looking pedals on your board.

that was one of my reasons for not holding onto mine. I was hoping to tear the paint off the walls :p
it did do some really neat stuff with the decay end of a bit.

I never got the impression it'd tear paint of walls.... It seemed pretty simple to me it was the "cool" fuzz. Nothing extreme, but nothing boring.

well, it reminded me of a lot my plum crazy: fuzzy lady with a clean boost... didn't really diversify what i had going. :idk:
awesome pedal, just didn't do much for me.

thought i should chime in...

i made this pedal first for a bass player that i used to play in a band with. he was continuously changing his gear around, using a fuzz with an a/b/y switcher and all sorts of other crap... he hated having that much gear for something so simple, so i made him more or less what he wanted. he was super happy and i decided to make more, specifically geared towards bass players. that being said, i forgot to take into account the simple fact that most effects users are guitarists and that the actual number of bass players who want fuzz is probably not that large... :whateva:

anyways, it's not meant to be super-over-the-top or crazy in that sense, more of a utility fuzz that has a bit more going on. the next version have some extras to make it a bit more searing, along with some other fun stuff...

that sounds like something i'd be interested in!

I saw the utility side of the pedal, just couldn't settle on any settings... on the lower-gain side, it really kicked ass though. I just felt like somebody who would love it more should have it. :thumb:
I totally was digging the hand stamped vibe too...

not for a little while... i'm doing a slight revision of the TAFM circuit board now and am working on the next pedal in my line... which will be SUPER RAD if i can get it to the next stage :whateva: it's pretty complex... for sure, i'll post new stuff as it happens.

yeah, that would be one of the pedals that you would have to buy just because of the name. who wouldn't want "super rad mclovin oven" on their board?!

i'll think about that one... it's not too much of a stretch considering the name of my other pedal
