Awesome. I am happy you are taking this project on. Ultimately, I don't know how much significant use I would get out of something like this but it sure would be fun for awhile.

Totally stoked that you're getting in on this smaction, and exploring alternatives to a straight PLLone. I mean, it's great that people are making exact copies since the original is such unobtanium, but it's so much more true to the spirit of ILF to look at that circuit and go "all right, that's a good start - now what?"

the changes i want to make will both make it a little more "musical"/usable as well as weirder in a different way.
obviously skunkworks is putting out the blackbird and while there can easily be a million pLL clones like there are big muffs, it's a little different in that it is SUCH a specific sound. maybe not though? we'll see.

I'm about this life...maybe you keep me posted? How long we expecting before purchasing? A year?

yeah i will keep everyone in the plloop!

not a year at all. i know some of my other projects are taking forever, but not this one... already have the first prototype and i already got it working on a regular 9VDC connection (rather than an AC adapter) though i have one little quirk i'm working out. i'm still compiling my own mods, but i'll also be putting out some DIY boards in the meantime of the original circuit.
