I think it has more low end and you can boost different preset EQ settings it if you want.

Woah, had no idea that it had the switch for different caps! Kinda makes the regular Fuzz Cactory a bit redundant though, no? Built a diy FF with increased caps but sold it on. Tempted to check this out though!
Never would have thought it, but I'm becoming a bit of a Zvex convert recently having managed to pick up both a handpainted Box Of Rock and Super Hard On for kinda cheap recently. The build quality is really good I have to say and they both sound great. Still wouldn't pay full price though. Really want to try out the Mastotron and this new one now.

Probably larger input capacitors and the switch does the same thing as the one on the Distortron and Mastotron (eg. how much you want in the 100hz and below range).

The normal Fuzz Factory has 10uf input and output caps (which is already really really big).
I would imagine the mod for the Fat Fuzz Factory would be increasing the value of the 100nf cap between the collector of Q1 and the base of Q2

This is probably going to be soooooo goood
srsly, the only reason why i didn't like the FF was that it was just too piercing for me
