Question about impedances and wattage.

I'm looking at getting into a nice amplifier/cab set up. I've been using DI and a cheap Pyle PTA1000 amp with a PA 1x12 and homemade 1x15 for a while. But here lately, I've been considering a Seismic Audio 1x15 and 2x10 setup. Both cabs are at 8 ohms, and 300-400 Watts RMS. My current power amp puts out 250 Watts per each channel at 8 ohms, and 500 watts per channel at 4 ohms. An amp I have looked into is the new Kustom DE300HD. It puts out 300 Watts at 4 ohms.

From what I understand, if I add two 8 ohm cabinets together, that would make the total impedance load on the power amp about 4 ohms, correct? Would I be able to use this amp with this speaker cabinet?
