ive found the split shaft pots from tayda turn really slowly, while smooth shaft pots turn quickly. try taking the knobs off and see whats up? you might have just caught the transitional pedal.

I've had this issue with every Strymon I've owned. They also use split shafts and there's ALWAYS one that feels harder to turn than the rest. I've never had any issues though, nothing broken or noisy, just a little extra stiffness.

try loosening the retaining nut a little; sometimes over-tightness can make pots bind. also, check that the knob isn't dragging on the retaining nut.

i've also found that when the knob is too far down on the shaft it can make turning a bitch. try loosening the set screw, and lifting the knob up just a tiiiiiiny bit, then retightening. i played a flickinger pedal recently that had one goofy-ass knob like this.

usually this. knob making contact with the enclosure.

Boy this thread is just one big TWSS
This happened with my deluxe pitch pirate though, was just the knob touching the metal bit attached to the enclosure
