how much should i be looking to spend of a model t in working condition? do they come up for sale often. it seems like there's one on the bay everyone in a while.

You could check out the Hovercraft stuff.
I believe they have made/could make a Model T alike amp for under 10 bills. :idk:

Just buy an Emperor (coming soon!), Verellen, or Dunwich and get something custom and brand new for the same kinda money. Emperor is def releasing a T-inspired circuit, Verellen has the 300W Meat Smoke along with custom 100W versions or that badass Meat Hammer, and Dunwich will build anything you want.

Oh, and Hovercraft has those bigger KT66 and KT88 models, also some 20W Model T voiced Dwarvenauts and you'll def spend way less. Great amps, lots of variety with each build based off the same few models but still unique in terms of specs. My Dwarvenaut is a beast at only 20W, voice like a med gain T in low gain settings and an Orange OR/Matamp in higher settings. Sounds HUGE, tons of bass, lots of gain, love that amp.

good to know. but i don't have to hunt one down. i was thinking about a matamp but i've heard they overheat.
