i have some i know are worth their high price to me. to each their own & all that, of course, just thought i'd start this thanks to the ridiculous immediate resale prices on the DBA sunshines.

moogerfoogers other than the delays and freqbox
strymon timeline & mobius
empress vintage modified superdelay & phaser
boss RC-300 loop station (i don't have one but i had an RC-50 and wish i'd hung onto it...)
DBA robot & echo dream 2
eventides even though the only one i've hung onto is the space
edit 1: goatkeeper 3
edit 2: ss/bs poly-grace

know i will edit as i think of more...

share yours!
:omg:

I think a lot of high priced pedals are worth it, But I will probably never spend the money to find out for myself. I don't think I have ever paid more than $250 for a pedal without trading.

Depends on what you consider "high price".

Truth. Personally, I think anything $300 and up is some high dollar shit. :thumb:

Off the top of my head....

MuTron BiPhase
Infanem Faye's Her
Monolith King's Head and Santa Muerte. Probably the Oracle and Spectre too but I haven't checked those out just yet
Goatkeeper 3
Echo Dream
Malekko E600D
Cosmichorus v3
Strymon Timeline and Mobius
Endangered Audio AD4096 but I'm after the upcoming DLX.

I have a DBA Robot too and while I like it, I don't thinks it's versatile enough to warrant that price tag. Unique, yes. Cool looking, shit yes. Versatile and useable, not really.

like i said, to each their own. personally anything over $250 is high priced. i'm basing it more on new prices than used though, unless it's some vintage piece. also aside from a couple delays, couple distortions and a phaser i don't have many "vintage" pedals though, despite my vintage synth addiction...

I think most stuff isn't worth shelling out new for, not when there's used gear and 15% off at prymaxe

IDK, it's still too subjective to me.

"high price" is too ambiguous. for me $200 is a lot for a fuzz, but not for a multi-functional delay or a complicated filter 'n' LFO dealie.
