They are sweet, I've been lookin at that Purple Tele and a transparent Green one on CL... G&L is nice stuff...

G&L makes some of the finest playing and most solidly built guitars I've ever laid my hands on. I have a custom asat special on order...should be coming in July

Its the DLX Tribute that's made in indonesia. I am not much of a guitar player but the playing bug has bitten me and I have been going Ham on that thing. I love it. Sits nice, constructed like a fucking boss, an amazing finish and gives a lot of different guitar tones. Seeing as I have had the least amount of years playing guitar in general I can't really give you an in depth comparison however I can tell you this feels like a 1200 instrument when it costs about half the price.
I have a goal to really put some work into playing the guitar well. When I feel that its time I am almost 100% sure I am going to place an order for custom style and finish.
I have a total love for this company.

I dig them but teles seem so naked without a pickguard to me. not that I couldn't get used to it.

I'm not overly fond of that black finish, or the lack of pickguards, but G&L's are seriously awesome. I really miss my Asat Classic, I'll get another Asat one day.
