coil tapping

just got a new bridge pickup from gfs
it has 4 wires for coil tapping
im going to do some research
to find out if i even want that
but how would i mod my guitar
to take advantage of the tap
pictures of your wiring would be awesome
telling me why i should or should not do it rules too

Here is just about every wiring diagram you could want:
http://www.seymourduncan.com/support/wiring-diagrams/How you would wire your guitar would depend on the other pickup, the switch type, how many knobs etc.
In my experience, most pickups sound pretty thin when split unless they are really hot to begin with.
If you take a humbucker with 9k resistance and split it down to 4.5k you normally get unimpressed.

its a gfs loudmouth
overwound to 13.5 i guess
but thin is not what im goin for
can anyone tell me the pros
and the other pickup is the double teisco
both wired into the one wire
from the last pickup
i think im gonna extend both of their leads to the pot eventually
figur out if swapping that pot would benefit me
