Non-acoustic solo acts?

I'm looking for solo acts that aren't just acoustic singer-songwriter types. I need some inspiration because I can't ever find dedicated people to play with. I'm not that into his music, but I thought Mylets was interesting in this regard....

Suggestions?

I already write drums and shit on the computer, but what always seems to keep me from finishing a project is that I want to play shows......

Yeah he makes all of those machines. It's truly crazy.

And I want to play out as well, I've come down to wanting to figure out how to get drum loops onto a looper and playing over them, or just programming drums into a machine. But I dunno man

I think I'm going to bite the bullet and sell off everything I don't use very often to get a drum machine and a more dedicated sampler..... Or maybe something that does both...

I think it's a pretty cool plan. I just want a drum machine that is easy to program, or maybe I should just read the manual

This guy.

Saw him a little while ago. A mic, a mixer, and a sampler.

six organs of admittance? He usually plays live with a band now but still.

Also I just use an RC3 for drum loops but I'm not heaps concerned with staying in time.

I think an RC30 is on my horizon.....if I can't find something that does drums well, AND samples...

Since I don't count "interactive video" as a musical instrument, this's a solo act:
