BOC's new album announcement and a want of lo-fi warbles has got me GASSING for the Destroyer setting on the Strymon Mobius.
Problem is, I'm really not fussed about the rest of the pedal. I'm good for trems and wahs and all the rest of it. I just want teh lo-fiz.

I know SS/BS Brian has had his BOC-in-a-Box project on for a little while, but is there anything else out there that can cop that sound?
I tried a Seppuku Mind Warp and didn't really get on well with it.

Are you talking about the filter type sounds on the Mobius or also about the bitcrush type sounds?
For the warbly sounds I'd like to add the Mid Fi (Deluxe) Pitch Pirate and the Clarinot, possibly also the Dr Scientist Cosmichorus V3.
The Hexe stuff is amazing, I have the Bitcrusher III and it's my favourite bitcrusher so far.

yup. i want exactly the same thing....as soon as they released the demos for each parameter........the Destroyer was what i could actually use....and liked the sound of.
I thought i read that someone asked them about a standalone, and Strymon said no plans for that.

Yeah. If the destroyer were not on the thing, my Mobius would be in the b/s/t in a heartbeat. The other functions are legit......I just don't like mods that much.....but man.....that destroyer rips.

Actually, you would need a bitcrusher as well as the vinyl sim (Melusine) to do all the destroyer stuff. That's already more than the Mobius itself costs.

I've wanted the same thing since the timeline! I've a malekko vibrato and a Bit on the way! Hopefully that will cover everything I've wanted!
