So I just got a timefactor and I'm more than a little impressed. I think eventide deserves some of my money. Problem is I can't decide what I want. Mod, pitch, space? I plAy bass if that helps any. Mod would be my first choice because I love modulation and filters but I have read that it's not so great with bass. I also read that pitch has a way to choose bass, guitar, or keys in a global setting, I'm not sure how that would change the pedal but I would like to know. Space is well, what can I say I don't use much reverb but it sounds sex. What do you all think?

I was quite disappointed with the Space, a few good sounds, but not worth the price IMO.

PitchFactor is the SHIT.
If you are going to buy a ModFactor, you might as well but a Strymon Mobius. I have had both and the Möbius is better.

I've heard mixed reviews on both the Mod and the Space, yet I've heard nothing other than gushing praise for the Pitchfactor. That's the way I'd go if were going to get an Eventide box.

I'd vote for a HD3000 (they're not that expensive second hand) or an Eclipse.
I hated the Pitch Factor, it sounds so incredibly digital and thin and the tracking is the worst I ever heard, I'm way more happy with my Whammy 5.
Just saying, but I guess the Pitch Factor is really a try before you buy kind of thing.

It's still more than the $400 ill spend on a pitchfactor.

Really?
I thought some of the HD's were going for stupid prices second hand, I could be wrong though.
Anyway, the Whammy 5 + Molten Voltage MIDI 5 can do some of the stuff the Pitch Factor can, as well as the Dwarfcraft Devices Pitch Grinder, you could also look into those if you're into the whole pitch thing and the Pitch Factor doesn't work for you.
As for Eventide I remember they just brought out this stompbox where you can load in patches and stuff at a fraction of the price of the other units.
Searched the webs and found it, the H9:

Yeah but $500 and one effect at a time AND for more effects you have to purchase them.

I've heard that the tracking has improved with the newer versions, do you know which one you had/played?
