So the mgr of Music Makers took a sweet 70's Mustang and that Lab Ratchet to a Blues Contest and played it strung real low in an open D tuning and wailed away with a slide and ended up winning the contest... Go Lab Ratchet, the Blues Lawyers should start lining up...

I don't play open tunings myself, but I do often tune down to D standard.

That's awesome! There are some sweet, rippin' 60's trash tones in the Ratchet that would sound sick with slide I bet.
