Is this stuff strong enough to etch Aluminum Enclosures? From the stuff i've read about people doing this, most seem to use Muriatic acid in some form. Just want to hear some thoughts on it.

EDIT
I was also wondering about the proper method of disposing of enchant-type chemicals? :?: :idk:

muriatic acid for aluminum enclosures. ferric chloride for etching copper PCB's.

when you do the enclosure you can add water to slow it down. or you can use heat to speed the reaction up. your milage may vary. there are lots of tutorials online.

Here in the UK there's no way to legally get rid of it. My dad ended up with a garage full of dangerous-looking jars of chemicals. One night he drove out somewhere quiet and guiltily poured them down a drain and ran off!
I've got a collection of four rusty jars so far.
Get used to living with them...
