The Crimson King is my new favorite fuzz, so much variety, all of it good.

I really want this guy...
Would you say it ever sounds too bright or trebly?
The sustain is badass

I'm curious if it cuts low end on a bass.

The CK is also my current favorite. I don't have a bass on hand right now, but it is less bassy than a big muff so I assume it cuts some bass. When I want more bass, I just boost it with a futureman.
It can get bright if you set the timbre control to an extreme, but overall it's a very balanced sounding fuzz. It can get thick and fuzzy while still cleaning up with your volume knob, but can also do a spitty gated fuzz kind of sound.
