Bassboar's Delay Hunt

I'm after a new delay, but I'm struggling to find the right one.
As far as sounds go, I'm looking for versatile modulation.
So as to sound like the tape machine has caught fire when I need to.
Lofi-ness is a bonus.
Oh, not being super expensive is a bonus.
Help me out fellas (and laydays).

I played the first show with my new EQD disaster transport last night. I really love this thing. It's pretty faithfully analog sounding. The tone knob really helps you tailor that. The modulation sounds great and I love that it's foot switchable. I haven't tried to do much really crazy shit with the mod, but the controls for it are pretty cool. And the pedal handles dirt really well.

This is actually kind of perfect, can get absolutely insane but it can also do subtle or no modulation. It oscillates in a dope way too

1776 Multiplex has some great sounds, and the just came out with a "Multiplex jr," which is just the EP-3 mode. They also just released a modulation add-on board, which I haven't tried, but want to. These are all DIY kits, but you could definitely get a DIYer to do the build if you can't.

Those Lao Wiz Multiplex builds are popping a lot of boners around here. I would start there.

Lunar Echo would also be dope, got in on a tourbox last year and the modulation that thing put out was nuts. The delay just sounds amazing too.
I have the mod circuit on my Multiplex, it's pretty good but I'd take the Lunar Echo or DPP over it for all around craziness

Even though EHX gets shit on pretty mercilessly around here, the Memory Boy (and the deluxe) is cheap, featurific and the modulation can go from subtle to totally wacked out. I recommend it.

Lunar Echo is the fucking shit dude!!!!! AHHHHHHH!!! LOVE IT. I would get a ILF Sunny Day Delay though when Ryan get those going. Super limited sexy run being done up by myself and my main man Excane. Just saying. It's going to be hot. So keep that on your radar bro.
