What is cool is that anything that takes an expression pedal or CV can use this, you just change from a TRS to a TS cord.
Also the sequencer can accept an expression pedal to sweep the sequence...like mix or glide I guess.
What is fucked up is that it has memory for 100 patches onboard but you have to use the little EHX breakout box ($80 something, I think).
Somebody will figure out how to make the memory work for cheaper right?

i'm thinking that with one of these and a Korg MS-20 i could multitrack on the computer and basically disappear up my own ass doing Tangerine Dream-style stuff for months.

the old ms-20 ran on a hz/v scaling, does the new one use the same or a conventional v/oct?

*update* it does use hz/v. so a converter would be req'd

Also it doesnt put out a gate. Rumors are that it can be hacked to do so.... (and of course for a synth sequencer you need a GATE for note on/off and a CV for pitches.) Looks great though, if it can be haxord.

i used to have a ms-04 pedal which i would run into my axxe and ody and it would go all kind of nice and crazy with some atten in the signal path. my old PAiA 4700 was hz/v RIP

I'm thinking about hooking it up to my Expressionator and controlling my Whammy, Delay and Bitcrusher with it.
Another really cool thing is that for random / s&h filtering, phasing or tremolo it seems you don't need to buy a specific pedal anymore, just hook this up to the expression input and you're good to go.

defineing segmant lenght is prett neat, and combined with gliss really gets into MARF territory.

I too I am hoping that it can be modded for a gate.
