Yeah so I just got one of these off a friend who works at a guitar store. They totally work. They hype is real on these. I dunno if it sounds any better physically... but I'vs always been a person who has trouble holding picks...they would slide around and id drop them and i could never maintain control but ive been playing with this for about an hour and it hasnt slipped even once. It kindof finds its own position in your hand and stays there. As a result my notes are more articulate and my rhythm is more controlled. I hate do be the guy who used a $4.00 pick but fuck it it really works.

Well ever since you posted about that Metal Douche fuckin Rebecca Dirks I've been sharpening my Dunlop 1.14's on the carpet so I could maybe do her one day too... I went to Music Makers and they were like "oh these???" so I got some but I HATE THEM... I'll stick to the lil point that I get from rubbing on the carpet...

I like these though...

These are all for Bartitone and Short Scale Bass...

I recently bought a sampler pack of V-Picks and can confirm the OP's findings: they rule. Of course, as is the nature of sampler packs, some of them are too small for me, but even the thicker ones work for me, and I generally dislike thick picks. I shredded the shit out of the thinnest one, so I'd advise against those unless you have a real soft touch.

I've never found anything better for me after 20-some years than the 2.0mm purple Tortex ones.
Hello, turtle!

The only thing that bugs me about tortex picks is that the turtle wears off pretty quick.

That's how you tell they're worn out.
It's not like the 1.5mm+ ones are ever going to show other wear

If all of my regular picks were replaced with V-picks there would be $30 hidden in the room right now...
I'M JUST TOO CLUMSY TO OWN SUCH FINE PICKS, YOU SEE.

I've always been curious about V Picks but then I think: "nah I'll just lose it in a few days anyway."

Also, I may order a sampler of V-Picks. I'm back and forth on it.
