I thought the demo sounded killer too so I ordered one a few days ago. I've been looking for a small and simple 6 or 8-stage phaser for a while and this looks like the ticket.

Yeah, I'm pretty stoked. Just found out that one of the functions of the Bonus control allows you to get stuck phase sounds which I can see being sick with fuzz.

I already have a Supermoon and a Double Chorus, so I don't need another Mr. Black pedal on my board, but damn, if this thing sounds as good in person as it does in the demo, I'll be very tempted. I'd love to see a shootout between this, the Sibling and the Grand Orbiter.

Just got notice that my GilaMondo has shipped....I'll report back with my thoughts.

GilaMondo kills on bass (as I'm sure it will on guitar too)! It's got a very deep and resonant sound that will get really intense and almost vocal-like if you turn up the bonus and depth controls or really thick yet subtle if you back them off. It's very audible in a dense mix, simple to use, quiet, tiny and green sparkle....in other words a motherfuckin' WINNER!!

i'm too lazy to link hop right now. does it have an expression input like the Faye Sing?

oop. just looked. doesna. i LOVE the Faye. sounds amazing. but i wouldn't mind a slightly smaller box and something less picky about it's power.

I'd be curious to see guts, if there is a portion under the stomp switch that is bare for a battery, I bet you might be able to add an expression jack depending on the value of the knob you wanted to control

so just like with the Faye, when plugged up defeat the rate switch, (well, Keninfanem has a switch so you can change it from manual sweeps to the rate setting) let you do them manual sweeps. YUMMY.

If worst came to worst you could always put a little tiny 1/8" stereo jack in there and just use a 1/8" to 1/4" converter cable to keep things classy. You could simply run 3 wires from the rate knob to the jack, when the expression pedal would be plugged in, the 'RATE' would just turn into the max value.

from that video this things sounds PRETTY FUCKING SICK. neat. i'm gonna be able to put in the order Friday (damn linear time progression when i'm waiting on a paycheck), so shouldn't be toooooo long to check it out with expression.

lol. i'm a git and asked for it mapped to the Rate knob at first. then i went and ACTUALLY READ THE MANUAL. neat that with the Width knob all the way CCW the Bonus knob works as a manual sweeper. NIFTY.
