Versatile semi hollow?

I
may be getting a new guitar with some extra cash I'm coming into soon. I've wanted to get a semi hollow for a while, but here are the "restrictions" I'll have to work with. I'd want something under $500 with a decent amount of tones. I was kinda checking these out, I dig the body shape quite a bit, and the price point is nice, at around just $350. Thoughts?

I don't really have much experience with ESPs, but that one looks nice.
I think I'd like it better in black:

I've got the LTD PC-2V and I like it a lot. I wouldn't call it versatile but that might just be the pickups. The ones in the PS might be more wide ranging. Mine sounds really mellow and woody. It's great if that's what you're going for; it's exactly what I wanted in a semi-hollow. It's very comfortable to play and I have no complaints about the build quality.

Usually don't like the gold hardware, but this White Falcony looking one looks super nice.

Abandoning your one guitar philosophy?
I'd suggest finding a used epiphone that plays well and upgrading the pickups
