Anyone digging Lace Drop and Gains?

Thinking of getting one for my new SG (stock PUs suck), bridge position.
My old (1982) SG has a Duncan JB, and I love it, but I'm thinking of trying something different for this other one, so they're not so similar sounding.
I dig the JB because it's slightly hotter than the old PU i had in the '82, grinds more, better definition on the palm-muted/fast d-beat shit I play... but also, because I don't use regular old power chord voicings, so when I'm using weird inversions or dissonant voicings, I can hear the note definition within them... the PUs on the new SG are crap in the latter regard, and just too hot, and not as responsive to my playing dynamics as I'd like. I play heavy shit, but there are parts where I need things to chill out a bit, and i play really hard, so I like a PU that responds to that.
Anyways... Drop and Gains... what say you?
