Yeah, it's real. They've decided to go the "homemade digcomedy" route and make a whole scifi-comedy out of clips from the first 3 movies. It's going to be awesome.

I find HollyWood's approaching new fad of ruining classic anime very depressing. There is a reason I watch way more anime then HW movies.

See it in HD if you can. It's a lot of fun... totally made me feel like a kid again... and quite honestly made me all teary eyed at the end.

I liked it too. My kids were boooored. I thought it was a good homage to the original. Christina Ricci being Trixie was just a bonus.

My girlfriend and I saw it and thought it was hilarious. I really liked old speed racer as a kid, but some of it was a bit over the top cheesey. "Wow dad, this engine is beefy!"

Even if it was for the wrong reasons we still enjoyed it.

Oh and Keanu's best movie: Bill and Ted's Excellent Adventure, hands down.

I don't get it!

Keanu Reeves and Wynona Ryder must have taken out options on every sci-fi film coming down the pike because they wind up in a whole lot of them and they REALLY SUCK as actors. I mean....REALLY SUCK.

Casting Keanu as a monotone clone/android/whatever is a no-brainer, but when he plays a rich, deep character like John Constantine you have to wonder wtf was going through the producers' heads. Someone who could act and someone who is actually British, like Christian Bale or Jude Law, would have been far better. Oh, well. Hollywood still thinks "Ahnode" when anyone mentions Conan as a property, as well.
