Empress - Tape Delay (ILF will love the BLIPS mode!)

Just finished a demo shooting with the new Tape Delay from Empress.
Damn this thing is hot and has some awesome and unexpected sounds going on i have not found on the VMSD.
The Blips mode is killer, just hit the tap tempo button and get crazy beautiful octave up and down shifts on the repeats.
Also manipulating the speed knob is great to create crazy sounds.
The Tape Delay sounds are as you might expect very tasteful and as good as they are on the VMSD (If you guys want an A/B video i will try to do one…)
Tons of different tap tempo modes including our beloved dotted 8th setting and even presets are packed into that tiny box.
I am well pleased with this top notch sounding new Tape Delay in a very user friendly box which also offers tons of beautiful and also crazy sounds…

Really nice sounding delay, the modulation sounds very nice, that blips mode looks really awesome and useful. Great demo as always!

How does this compare to the tape settings on the VMSD (besides blips mode)? It sounds a lot better on your demo!

Oranges and apples, the DTSR has reverb, dual delay, lo-fi ish and rhythmic sounds going on while the Empress has Tap Tempo and the Blips.
They couldnt be more different...

I will try to do a comparison with the VMSD soon...
So far i have not tried them side by side but from what i remember from the VMSD the sound is roughly identical...

Forreal tho this demo just sold me on this pedal. It sounds so freakin' good, and while I knew the VSMD was expensive, I didn't know this was only $250.
