I remember someone was selling a bunch of custom etched pedals in BST that had a DBA-esqe look and he had a delay that did tape delay nicely. I saw a review of it an really liked it but I can't remember what it was called. I searched for the sale thread but its gone. His user name was like zzxxzpbbbttthh or something. Pls halp.

YES EXACTLY. HAZELWOULD IS A HERO
Now, what are your guys opinion on it? Better options? These had to be built correct? Like, there are no builders that just make these right? Who wants to build one for me? Pricing?

The Multiplex is excellent, 3 classic modes, sounds incredible, and the momentary "tape speed" stomp let's you get some awesomely crazy or simple and subtle results. I love mine.
Another awesome BUT more costly option is the new EQD Disaster Transport SR. Dual tape delays, multiple options on how to run those delays or feed em into one another, expression control for each delay, trails or true bypass via simple footswich, etc, etc.
The two pedals compliment one another very well tho, each doing things the other can't. Together they are like tape delay heaven. The Cbread Echorec is cool too but has nothing on those others.
LaoWiz built me a Multiplex recently and it absolutely rules. They just released an add-on modulation circuit too, thinking about updating mine when he let's me know how it sounds. And yeah, his enclosures are incredible, weathered DBA plus old school EHX vibe. I immediately ordered a buncha shit from him right after getting the Multiplex. I posted all about it recently here:

And here's my thoughts on the excellent Disaster Transport SR. I haven't even made it to the expression pedal functions yet, repeat and bleed, lots of good sounds in this one.

Anyone know if what parameters you can change on the new modulation circuit on a Multiplex? I should probably just send him a PM

If this is a PT2399 delay, maybe tap tempo could be added with this board.

He's an awesome dude - he's built me two pedals (including a 1776 that basically matches Schnikes'), rehoused and tweaked one. Super sweet guy, does excellent excellent work. I'll definitely be getting more Laowizzed pedals again in the near future.

The Multiplex is awesome. Between the 3 delay modes, there are plenty of really great sounds. I built mine myself, but LaoWiz's look incredible and make me jealous all the time. DO IT.

I'll have a LaoWiz Multiplex coming in next week. I'll try and do a demo.

I had one. It's got a lot of cool flavors. Fuzzonaut has it now, he has nice things to say.

I would say no. Those are all more flexible than the Multiplex.
I've had two of them but got rid because I thought they were too bright and didn't have long enough repeats.
