Guitar Effect Help (Batman Beyond)

Ok, I love comics and am IN love with batman Beyond. I think it is/was insanely well written and just a good show, but besides the point. The theme song is incredible and around the 38 second mark they do a pretty nice instrumental and the guitar does some pretty wicked sounds. Sounds like maybe some tremolo or time based effect, idk, but I'd like to. Anyone know how that sound is achieved?
