Anyone have experience, opinions, or care to talk out of your ass about the Malekko/Wolftone Fetish pedal? I'd love to hear a bass demo, but this is the only vid i can find:

Thanks for the new vid, that guitar is sooooooo sexy! Would still like to hear from an ILF'er who has played a Fetish.

I think I'm the only person highly disappointed/bored with their new wolftone line. I don't know anyone who has purchased one yet, not to say I know everyone, but demos online maybe your online source.

There's a shop near me that carries Malekko - they've got the Chaos, Helium and Sloika, but I haven't seen the Fetish yet. I'll try to keep an eye out for it - I need to take my bass down there to try some pedals anyhow. Don't know if I can record a vid there, but I could at least put it through its paces. What sort of things were you wondering about it in particular?

The basics, low end loss, does it obliterate the fundamental sound of your bass, does it stack well with OD? I've been gassing for a Rat, but this had me curious because I had a Fulltone Bassdrive with MOS/FET options but it didn't give me enough grit. I thought the Fetish might be an improvement.

Cool - I will check it out. In the meantime, have you tried the EQD Talons? I recently picked up one and it's friggin' fantastic. I know I raved about it in a previous thread... but I messed around with it yesterday, using my POG to give my Fender Jazz some extra octave down goodness to test and see if it would be able to handle the loooooooooooowwwwws. And it sure as shit did. It definitely retains my fundamental bass sound like WHOA. And there is plenty of grit to be dialed in there.

Not to derail with fanboi gushiness - I will definitely check the Fetish... heck, I'll A/B it against the Talons, too...

I feel ya. I love Malekko but these new pedals mostly seem like same old od/dist/fuzz that every brand has some of. That half comp-half fuzz pedal looks pretty neat though.
