Hey,
I'm looking for something new for my guitar solos and shit like. I like both the pedals on the subject but don't know which could be better. Help me out by Thursday before I put money in da bank. I'm looking to pair it up with a Devi Ever Rocket and/or Dwarfcraft Shiva.

I'm also considering a ZG. It seems pretty gatey/stuttery though, so may not be right for solos, unless you hit it with a boost of some kind.

Fuck man, I have an electronic track I did with a friend of mine when I had ZG, I used it for my lead parts. I'm going to look for it. The ZG is a super unique fuzz, and if you want some unqiue and killer lead lines it is an excellent choice.

FOUND IT. Guitar solo around 3:00. But all the guitar has some ZG action. Delay is a Sunny Day Delay. But yeah, in response to the TGD, WHY NOT BOTH?

Why not both? Because I spend my money on a new telecaster and only have the funds for one pedal. I'll have a TGD in collection soon but a ZG will do.

Can't argue with a Telecaster.

So right now, I played with DC Shiva and found a sound that is like a ZG but better. I guess I'll go for a DC TGD soon but right now I'm going to get a DEvi Ever Rocket for my fuzz and keep the DC Shiva as my solo noise fuzz box.

So, I got a serect destroyer, a TGD with a extra knob and its badass but i think ZG is more "mellow" IMO. Don't have a ZG yet but will get one soon.

Congrats on the Secret Destroyer, TGD is one remorseless bastard when it comes to what it does the best - destroying. I love mine dearly, for riffing as well a for fx solos, You can - with some patience - find lots of cool and usable sounds from it. Takes crazy bandmates to use it extensively though, and a strong stomach from the audience to find what they call music from all the sonic debris it leaves behind.
