whaddaya think? It kind of sounds like they are trying to patent basically putting clips of pedals on their website. I listened to a few on my computer, the filtering results wasn't really working and the clips are a little boring.

I dig, I guess, it's another place to hear pedals you don't own.

Yeah, i see it being more useful to demo guitars than pedals.

not really convinced to be honest i guess it gives you a somewhat idea of what its going to sound like
weird level issues
you gotta use your imagination on top
i would like a super bass after that though

If the person doing the demo gives me a clean sound I can usually make a pretty good assessment as to how it will sound with my set up. I'm with Domvan on this one.
I don't see how it would be good for guitars either. So many other quirks with electronics can happen between your playing and your amp. For instance, a guitar will get different tones of feedback depending on its direction and orientation related to the amp. Seems like a great way to sell pedals....

that sucks, they should not be deleting comments.
You can't be afraid of criticism
also: This certainly does seem kindof dumb, and I am not sure how you can patent something like this, although my knowledge of patent law is limited.
I am not sure how running your phone into your amp gives you a real picture of anything, it just seems flipping stupid

they're trying to patent recording a DI signal and putting it on the internet?
what?
it's not like that is some sort of new process... a lot of people record into a DI, play it back through a fancy amp in some fancy studio with a fancy console to get the best bang for your buck for studio time. silly PGS. i suppose it's cool that they're applying it to pedal demos though.
anyway, i tried it, doesn't seem to work with my ipad, the little flash clips won't play

apple products recommended my butt!
i tried with my android phone and it worked, but the distortion clips don't sound right, seems like they are missing some high end, maybe it's the phone's problem or the EQ thing they talked about.

interesting idea... better than nothing i guess.
i see plenty of problems with the system but if it helps some folks out then great.
