Momentary Switch Question

Hi! I'm building a Devi Ever Sodameiser kit right now, and for the chaos (oscillation) mode I need to remove one of the caps from the circuit. I wanted to do this with a DPDT Momentary switch. Do I just solder the cap to one side of the lugs and run wire to the pcb where it should go? I'm confused!

Any help would be really appreciated!

you need to post a link to a schematic

You need a SPST NC switch between the .1uf and the 10k/2.2M/.1uf collector junction (or between the .1uf, .1uf/2.2M and base junction). That will leave the cap in and when you press and hold the switch it will lift the cap out of the circuit.

I couldn't read it so I tried to fix the spacing for you. I hope i didn't break it by moving stuff. Dr Satan maybe you want to try a free program like diy layout creator, ltspice, eagle, diptrace etc.. to draw schematic. its really easy and fast. you just take a screen shot of your schematic and post the image. ascii art is cool but I'm guessing that it is tedious work to draw it by hand with text

anyway thanks for taking the time to dig up the devi schematic and redraw it.

I have most of those programs, I had just been working with them all day designing some layouts and needed a break. Alt + 255 and some copypasta is cake. I can even triforce.
