I just put BG Pups' Phatty set in my Duo Sonic (I had him leave out the middle pickup and do the neck RWRP). They sound great. Definitely beefed things up! Good tone, but more attitude than stock.
I'll post some clips soon, just wanted to give BG Pups my thumbs up. I've been wanting to try them for a while...always excited about small-shop stuff that isn't insanely expensive.

I love those Duo Sonics!

Same model as phantasmagorovich's, like the blond with gold anodized guard is it? Or is that white/cream of some sort?

I have a BG Pure 90 and it's awesome. I'm starting to like it much more than my Bareknuckle P92. Would definitely pick one up again if I needed a pickup.

^Yeah, that's the Squier CV Duo Sonic (24" scale).
I also have a '90s Fender MIM Duo-Sonic that rips (22.7" scale FTW!)

Have to add...
I usually don't like bridge position pickups, but I REALLY like the bridge Phatty. It sounds excellent with fuzz! It actually has body to go with that attack and definition.
(The Duo's bridge pickup is further from the bridge than many other guitars, which might have something to do with it, but I've tried two other bridge singles in there that didn't do it for me.)
