T-Rex Tap Tempo delay...anyone used?

These can be had used for around $80...seems like a deal for an analog delay with tap tempo. Read some issues with what sounds like clock noise but not a lot of info out there, can't seem to find max delay time listed anywhere...any ILF brethren stomped this shit?
