Guitar on the left appears to be a Micro-Frets, model unknown.
Give me a little more time and I should have the one on the right for you as well.

definitely an SG, specifically one of those weird ones with the mini blocks in the fingerboard circa the late 70s/early 80s. you can clearly see the headstock at 2:35 in the "better" video; the guitar appears to have been fitted with a round scratchplate roughly based on the Zemaitis design.

I love that the singer didn't even make an attempt to fake singing into the mic - we was just off three feet away, facing the opposite direction.

Thanks for the input. I love cheesy 80s German shit, it's hilarious. The clip reminded me of the Smiths on Top of the Pops, not even trying to hide it. The clip isn't one of my favorites, but I thought it was a good one for the guitar question.
