Jaguar 12 strings???

I think I'll turn my Jaguar into a 12 string...
Does anybody has this mod already done??
Cause I need some advices here

As for the neck I think I'll go that way:

I think I'll put some Novak's Lipsticks in it (it looks so sexy on a Jag!!!)

But I'm kind of lost for the bridge and the tailpiece...
Should I go with a TOM system??
Something elses like a ES tailpiece and a random 12 strings bridge??
Is there somewhere, maybe, a 12 strings Jag vibrato??

Thanks for sharing your thoughts and ideas with me :thumb: !!!!

If you are working with a standard jag then a Gotoh bridge might work best. I'd probably suggest it anyway. Tom 12 string bridges probably won't last long with extra string tension. The Gotoh bridge is a great way to go.

Thank you for your answer :)

I didn't thought about that Gotoh bridge, it might do the the trick indeed.
First I thought about a Trapeze Tailpiece and a floating bridge (if I can find a 12 strings one), I may be able to pass over the vibrato with the Trapeze...it's only a question of look and handsomeness.
But I want something efficient so...
btw, I have a 02-04 CIJ Jaguar.

What do you think about something like this?

Pretty sure this was done by Paul Rhoney (stereordinary on offsetguitars). Would still work with the stock bridge too.

I think this is amazingly what I have in mind even if I thought it wasn't doable...
Thanks!!!
As for the stock bridge, having 12 strings won't fix its weaknesses right?

Well you'd be able to get more downward pressure on it without increasing the break angle so there's that. Personally I'd try and make the stock one work, but I happen to like the Jaguar bridge way more than a TOM. A little loc-tite and some filing should make it plenty playable.
