Seeking Bass Wah

And failing. :(

I need something on the MASSIVELY CRUNCHY side. Most bass wahs tend to fart out the poopy lows and cut out all of the mid/himid crunch, Unless you have the wah completely toe down, then you are greeted with a wave of piercing treble that any guitar wannabe would be proud of. Guitar wahs on bass tend to lose the lows and have too much useless sweep at the trebley end, IME.

Must play well with fuzz and dirt.

Not necessarily looking for the huge-sweep, screaming treble Morley Cliff Burton thing either.

But also not looking for the "funk" quack.

Something perhaps close to ...

Any suggestions, ILF ? :idk:

I use a Wilson Freaker, which is based on the Tycobrahe Parapedal. It doesn't lose lows at all, it actually has pretty thunderous lows. But it can also do the honky throaty thing, and goes awesome with dirt and fuzz.

If it's good enough for Geezer, it's good enough for me :idk:

Dude, a Gig-FX Sub Wah is AWESOME. It is a favorite of mine. It is a low pass wah, it actually resonates the lower frequencies and the mids are real aggresive. It loves dirt before and after.
Or get an Iron Ether Xerograph and an expression pedal.
