battery snaps yes or no

I would really like to know what the good people of ILF think about batteries and 9v boss adapters. I know my preference is to use a visual sound one spot for everything except maybe the germanium fuzz face and the germanium rangemaster. how about you? also, on a battery powered pedal, would you rather have an LED or longer battery life if you had a choice?

I don't ever use batteries. I use a power supply (Supa Charger) and love it. I'm not even sure that all of my pedals even take batteries.

To me the most important aspects of a pedal other than the toans are top mounted in/out/power and having an LED.

I guess a battery option on a pedal that is picky about it's power supply would be nice. Realistically though, unless I REALLY loved it
and couldn't find a suitable replacement, I'd probably ditch/avoid anything that didn't work with my current Godlyke daisy chain setup.

Batteries are a pain and I can never keep track of which ones are dead.

I never use batteries
but if I had a battery only pedal I would prefer long life to an LED
seeing some stuff in BST with an off switch is awesome, not sure why this hasn't happened before

This. The only thing I use a battery in is my tuner so I only have to run a single Onespot + the 5-point adapter to power the board.

I only use batteries, because the environment is lame.

I love the sound of fuzz with a battery especially a dolor store carbon one.
And yes fuck Al Gore he would have censored or banned a lot of music any way.

I have a battery in my tuner, but only so I can lend it to bands that don't own one. It's basically me helping the audience.

Power supply all day otherwise.

Power supply only but if I had the option to have a battery snap in my pedal at no extra charge, I'd take it.

Someone should figure out a cheap way to charge a NiHM battery in the pedal while its plugged in. Never hurts to have a back up power source.

I never use batteries, it just seems like such an antiquated way of powering my pedals. Kinda like the vinyl vs iPod debate, sure vinyl sounds better, but not enough to justify using the older tech.
