stainless steel roundwounds (bass strings)( in a heavier gauge) for a 34 1/2" scale neck..?

I have flatwounds on right now because the guy I bought the bass off of played alot of jazz stuff.

I'm used to playing GHS 115's on the PBASS and JBASS's I had before, even Ernie Ball 115's sometimes.

Let me know what YOU know. Looking to change it up a bit, or something.

read about them for years now, heard them, seen them etc. That is probably the one larger company I haven't tried yet. Haha.

I'll look into them. Time for a change I guess.

DR High Beams and Lo Riders are good. However my last set of riders weren't awesome but i've had good experience in the past. I think I prefer the High Beams more now

I like Blue Steels and Rotosounds. Didn't like D'addarios too much, but I don't think I tried their stainless steel strings, just nickel.

Has anyone gave the DR DDT's a go?
I'm also interested in the Rotosound Drop Zone's.

The DDTs seemed to hold D standard just as well as any other string...but like Blue Steels man.
