Need HELP! with MIDI!

Hi guys!
I just got a M-Audio USB Uno Midi Interface thingy... and now I want to get some kind of midi software on my pc to send PC (and maybe CC) commands to my whammy, as stated in the manual:
Is there any software where I can control/sequence those commands and directly send it to the whammy via the midi interface?

I was thinking something smaller/easier would do the job... damn.. I don't want to install cubase again

yeah, sorry man, I always use Cubase for this shit. I'm sure there are easier/cheaper programs that can do it, but since me and my bandmate have a legit copy, I never tried anything else.

What you want is something softwarewise that does send/receive.
I've also always used a DAW.

Yeah, I've already ordered a molten midi 2, but I want to play around with the midi interface while I wait for it
