i have one of my two whammys always set to an octave down for turning my guitar into a bass, wondering if there's another octave down pedal that handles chords similarly but takes up less space...
any suggestions?

Ring Thing is a LITTLE smaller. Hbomb was saying the Mooer octaver does a pretty okay job. Maybe you could look into a Micro Pog?

If your looking for octave down to track chords, stay away from analog pedals. Analog sounds better in my opinion, I have an Octron and love it, but it doesn't do chords. I second the POG/HOG recommendation for what you're after.

yeah the Mooer is pretty awesome seems to handle chords well, haven't tried it without the dry yet but I will at some point
and the OC3 does pretty well

does the OC3 have a little lag like my PS-5 super shifter does when using it to drop an octave?

EBS Octabass, EHX POG, and the Boss OC-3 do passable jobs of polyphonic tracking.

The OC3 I think has a little bit of lag on the bottom string but I hit the strings like I'm murdering them. the Octabass I didn't pay enough attention to.
